The Apprentice Meeting is Oct 5, 2026 at 6:00PM - Balcony Lounge-LU#3.
*A valid Local #3 Union Card is required at all times on school premises and at all Apprentice School functions.*
Fall 2026 Class Night Changes:
Tuesday Class:
- There will be no class November 3rd, Class held Monday, November 2nd.
- There will be no class the week of December 28th.
Thursday Class:
- There will be no class November 26th. Class held Monday, November 23rd.
- There will be no class December 24th. Class held Monday, December 21st.
- There will be no class the week of December 28th.
Mandatory Safety Classes:
- Tuesday Class - Details to follow soon.
- Thursday Class - Details to follow soon.
Final Exams:
- Will be Tuesday, January 12, 2027 at 5:30pm.
- In the Auditorium of Local Union #3, 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Ave, Flushing.
- It is mandatory you bring your valid, Local Union #3 card with you. Any Apprentice who does not have a current Union card, will not be permitted into the test site, earn a zero "0" on the exam and fail the semester.
- You must bring a pen (or 2) with you to take the exam.
- Monthly On-the-Job Reports must be current to be eligible. Any Apprentice who is delinquent in submitting their Monthly OTJRs will not be permitted into the test site, earn a zero "0" on the exam and fail the semester.
- All cell phones, smart watches and/or earphones must be securely put in a bookbag or pocket. If any electronic device is visible, your test will be confiscated, earn a "0" on the exam and fail the semester.
- Any Apprentice caught cheating by any method will have their test taken, earn a "0" on their exam, and fail the semester.
- No sunglasses/tinted glasses, hoods or hats are to be worn inside the test site.
- Once Final Exams start, there will be no bathroom breaks. Please arrive early to have ample time to use bathroom facilities prior to the start of the exam. Any Apprentice with medical needs must provide the Director with documentation prior to Final Exam date, and an alternate test site, date and exam will be offered.
- Any exit of the auditorium is final. Once an Apprentice leaves, there is no re-admittance to the test site.
- Instructors and staff will actively monitor students during the exam.

1st & 2nd Year APPRs - 6:00 - 7:00 P.M.
BRING:
- $40 Money Order or Bank/Teller's Check, Payable to: "J. A. T. C."
- Photo I.D. (Driver's License Preferred)
- Valid Union Card, valid temporary Union Card or non-expired yellow Local 3 issued receipt - NO JUN 2026 Cards. Please visit the Maintenance Dept at the Union Hall and request a temporary Union Card in advance of Registration.
- Copy Latest Pay Stub - on paper (Jul 2026-Aug 2026)
**On-the-Job Reports must be current to be eligible to register.
**Books must be returned from the prior semester and/or paid for to be eligible to register.
