The next Apprentice Meeting will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Balcony Lounge at Local Union #3, Flushing, NY.

***Please note, a valid Local #3 Union Card is required at all times on school premises and at all Apprentice School functions.***

​​SCHOOL NIGHT CHANGES/CLOSURES:

Thursday Students:

  • There will be no class on November 21st. (You will need to attend 1/02/2025)
  • November 28th class will be held Monday, November 25th.

All Students: 

  • No Classes will be held from December 23 through Jan 1st. Classes will resume Jan 2nd will Thursday.


Safety Seminar:

The Mandatory Safety Seminar will take place in the Auditorium of Local Union #3, 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Avenue, Flushing, NY 11365. 

All Apprentices are REQUIRED to attend on their designated night.

Tuesday Night Students:

  • Monday, December 16th. *New Date*

Thursday Night Students:

  • Monday, November 4th. *New Date*

Start time:5:30 pm both Seminars.

All Apprentices must have a valid Union Card to attend & bring a pen/pencil with you.


Final Exams:

  • Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Local #3 Auditorium. More details to follow.

​Book Return: Will take place at the JEO Office, 3540 36th St, LIC on both

  • Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
  • Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Spring 2025 Registration:

  • Will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
  • Books must be returned from the Fall Semester for Spring Registration eligibility.
  • On-the-Job Reports must be current to Register.

TIME:     4th & 3rd Year APPRs - 5:00 - 6:00 P.M.

              1st & 2nd Year APPRs - 6:00 - 7:00 P.M.

BRING:    

  1. $40 Money Order, Payable to:  "J. A. T. C."
  2. Photo I.D. (Driver's License Preferred)
  3. Valid Union Card, valid temporary Union Card or non-expired yellow Local 3 issued receipt - NO Dec 2024 Cards. Please visit the Maintenance Dept at the Union Hall and request a temporary Union Card in advance of Registration.
  4. Copy Latest Pay Stub - on paper (Dec 2024-Jan 2025)


**On-the-Job Reports must be current to be eligible to register.

The 1st day of class at Queens Technical HS is as follows:
Tuesday Classes begin Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at 5:30 P.M. 

Thursday Classes begin Thursday, February 6th, 2025 at 5:30 P.M.

**Please Note: A valid Local 3 Union Card is required at all times.**

      

 Late Registration:

***Any Apprentice who registers late missed one class of school and will accumulate one (1) absence with one (1) absence remaining for the semester.
